We’re hiring: Freelance Social Media Manager

We’re looking for a creative, organised and enthusiastic freelance Social Media Manager to join Hanmade Studio.

We’re building a team of experienced marketers who care about doing social media differently. We work with businesses to create thoughtful strategies, brilliant content and social media that actually makes a difference.

Now, we’re looking for someone local to North Wales who knows their way around social media, has some experience under their belt and wants to grow with us.

What you’ll be doing

• Planning and scheduling social media content across platforms.

• Writing engaging captions that sound human, not robotic.

• Creating content calendars and helping bring social media strategies to life.

• Keeping up with trends and spotting opportunities for our clients.

• Supporting content creation, including filming on-site at local businesses across North Wales and Cheshire.

• Working collaboratively with our team of experienced marketers to deliver brilliant work for our clients.

What we’re looking for

• You’re based in North Wales and can travel locally for filming days.

• You have some experience managing social media accounts, whether freelance, in-house or agency-side.

• You understand what makes good social content and how to create content that connects with an audience.

• You’re organised, proactive and comfortable managing deadlines.

• You have a good eye for detail and a creative approach to problem-solving.

• You’re confident creating content and happy to get behind the camera when needed.

You don’t need to know everything. We’re looking for someone with a solid foundation, a great attitude and a genuine interest in social media who wants to keep learning.
